Your Makeup!

Soft Eyes Tips
When lips are like neon lights, the eye shadow should be dimmed. The eyes should have a clean appearance without too much color or hard edges.
Warm Up! Bronzer? Or Blush?
Using brown all over can make the skin look flat. Brushing pink or peach over it gives the face life! If the blush is mixed into the right bronzer apply only to the apples of the cheeks to avoid looking sunburned.
Your Hair!

Minimizing Damage
If you’re in the pool for school or the ocean quite often, pour bottled water or wet your hair before you dive in. Your hair is like a sponge and pouring good water on it first will not let as much damaging water in.
Keeping your color looking new!
Look for shampoos/conditioners, and styling products that have sunscreen in them, especially if you do not want your hair color to change or fade. Products with sunscreen will also protect your scalp from burning. Going to just sit in the sun and soak up some rays this summer, or are you in the sun a lot with sports and events? Why not put a deep conditioner in your hair and let the heat help your hair by opening up the cuticle and letting the conditioner really penetrate your hair! Ask your stylist about the best deep conditioner (remember, in travel size too for vacations)!
Hats can be a lifesaver. They can prevent your color from fading or turning “brassy”. Hats also protect fragile hair…as well as being a cute accessory!
Jessica Simpson vs Scare-crow…Protecting your hair
You might want to start using a “sealer” before you blow dry or curl your hair, so that it keeps those split ends at bay. However, what’s the one thing that can terminate those split ends? A haircut….I know, I know you’re growing it out. Let me give you a little insight. If you’re avoiding your hairstylist because she always cuts too much off, FIND SOMEONE who will just cut ½ an inch off or less, to keep your hair healthy. Now, I’m not talking about waist length hair that has straw-split ends up to the shoulders… or those people who only cut their hair once every leap year, and only want a trim. I’m talking about getting a trim at least every 2 months, ½ an inch or less to keep it healthy, so you can grow it waist long and have it look nice, not stingy.
