The Owner

Marzette is a 2nd generation cosmetologist and has been working in the makeup and hair industry for over 8 years.  She is a certified makeup artist from Makeup Designory in Los Angeles.  She has worked with cosmetic companies, and helped open the “Brow Bar” in South Coast Plaza.  She was also manager of makeup counters in Fashion Island.  She has been a lead makeup artist working with the Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach for over 5 years.  She has built up a reputation in the wedding makeup and hair industry working with wedding coordinators and prestigious hotels such as The Ritz in Laguna Beach, The Hyatt, and The Laguna Cliffs Marriott.   Marzette was manager of the Marriott salon for over 2 years.  After leaving the Marriott to start her own company, she was honored to have been asked to come back and collaborate with their salon, allowing “The WoW Factor!”  to do their weddings.  Her background with print and film as well as loving to teach hair and makeup has made her well rounded in this industry. She writes quarterly newsletters for all her clients with helpful tips for each season…look for those newsletters, tips and demonstrations to be frequently posted on this web site.   

My philosophy has always been to educate my clients.  You should be taught the tools that will allow you to style your hair just like I do!  It’s not a good cut if I am the only one who can make it look good.  It’s all about time management and teaching you things that will make your life easier with less ‘bad hair’ days.  I have put ‘The WoW Factor’ together to bring professional stylists that are friendly, approachable and trained to listen to your wants and needs.  Together we enjoy a positive working environment and build each other up.
